Terms & Conditions – Styling and Furniture Hire Giveaway

 

Definitions:

1. The ‘Promoters’ are Laurel & Grace, ABN 54 967 531 331 of 693 Barkly St, West Footscray Vic 3012 and My Sweet Event, ABN 76 313 270 938 of 59 Zina Grove, Mooroolbark.
2. The ‘Winner’ refers to the prizewinner.
3. The ‘Equipment’ refers to all furniture, decor, linen, lighting and associated packaging and storage containers supplied to the ‘Promoter’ My Sweet Event The promotion commences at 5:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEDST) Friday 6th July 2018 and concludes at 5:00pm on Sunday 5th August 2018 AEDST (“Promotion Period”).

An Eligible Entry requires the entrant to: Follow @laurelandgracedesign and @mysweetevent & leave a comment on the post, telling the Promoters what they would create with the package. All valid entries received during the Promotion Period will be entered in the prize draw. The winner will be selected based on the caption by Sunday 12th August 2018. The winner will be announced via Instagram and Facebook and is required to get in contact with either promoter by Sunday 19th August 2018 to claim the prize. The prize is a voucher to the value of $500 to put towards Laurel & Grace styling and/or planning services, and $500 worth of product hire from My Sweet Event. The wedding event needs to be held between 19th August 2018 and 30th June 2019. Please be aware that some services and or/products may not be available on the date of the Winner’s wedding, therefore The Promoters may offer an alternative. The Winner needs to be within Victoria. Prize and/or difference is not transferable, given as credit and is not redeemable for cash. Should the Winner require services outside of the value, they can obtain it at an additional cost which will The Promoters will inform them off. For Equipment hired a refundable $100 security bond is required for all hired goods, which will be refunded within 48 hours after goods are returned in the same. The hire period is for a term of 4 days. A $100 bond payment is required for all bookings and will be returned via Credit Card only, within 48 business hours, once all items are returned, counted and checked. Should any equipment be found to be unclean, damaged, missing or require replacement, the Winner will be invoiced for the cost to clean, repair or replace of the item. Should the invoice not be paid within 7 days the Hire Company reserves the right to deduct charges from the nominated credit card as agreed to by the Winner. The Promoters are not liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for personal injury suffered or sustained during the course of accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Information on prizes & how to enter form part of these Terms & Conditions. Any entry not complying with these terms and conditions is invalid. For the purposes of Schedule 2 of the Australian Consumer Law, in particular Sections 51 to 53, 64 and 64A of Part 3-2, Division 1, Subdivision A of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), Laurel & Grace, and My Sweet Event’s liability for any breach of a term of this agreement is limited to: the supplying of the goods or services to you again; the replacement of the goods; or the payment of the cost of having the goods or services supplied to you again. This agreement and this website are subject to the laws of Victoria and Australia. If there is a dispute between you and Laurel & Grace and/or My Sweet Event that results in litigation then you must submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria
